Each year, golfers from across the community come together for a special event that’s about more than just the game — the annual Redford Commission on Youth and Families Golf Outing. Held at one of the region’s premier courses, the outing brings together local businesses, community members, and supporters for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and a shared commitment to making a difference. This much-anticipated tradition continues to grow in both spirit and impact, offering participants a unique way to give back while enjoying a sport they love.
The heart of the event lies in its mission: to support Redford Commission on Youth and Families ongoing efforts to empower our youths and families through education, mentorship, and resources. Every dollar raised through player fees, sponsorships, raffles, and donations goes directly toward programs that uplift and inspire those who need it most. Thanks to the generosity of participants and sponsors, the foundation is able to expand its reach year after year, creating new opportunities and lasting change.
Last year’s outing featured a full day of golf, complete with contests, and prizes. Whether players came to win or simply to enjoy the day, the energy on the course was electric. From longest drive to closest-to-the-pin competitions, each hole offered a new challenge and a new chance to support the cause. Off the course, the sense of purpose was just as strong, with stories shared about how the Redford Commission on Youth and Families has impacted lives and why this event means so much to so many.
